NTAG215 NFC coin tag with 504-byte user memory, ISO14443A NFC Forum Type 2 compatible. Blank and rewritable 13.56MHz token in a compact coin form, ideal for loyalty programs, games, check-in points, smart posters and DIY NFC projects.
NTAG215 NFC Coin Tag – 504 Byte Blank Programmable Token is a small, durable 13.56MHz NFC coin tag designed for projects that need reliable, rewritable memory in a compact format. Using genuine NTAG215 chip technology, it offers 504 bytes of usable memory and a 7-byte unique ID, making it suitable for encoding URLs, text, IDs, configuration data, game data, loyalty information and more.
The tag works on the ISO/IEC 14443A standard and is compatible with most NFC-enabled smartphones, tablets and readers that support NFC Forum Type 2 tags. Just tap with a phone or reader to read or write data such as website links, app triggers, Wi-Fi configuration, coupons or event details. Once encoded, the data can be locked to prevent changes if required by the application.
Coin-style construction makes the tag easy to handle and install. Common diameters include 20–30 mm (or as customized), with a thin, flat profile that fits behind panels, in enclosures, on displays, key tags or badges. The housing is usually made from PVC or ABS plastic, giving good resistance to everyday wear, light impacts and moisture in normal indoor or covered outdoor environments.
The NTAG215 chip used inside supports fast communication, 10-year data retention and up to 100,000 read/write cycles. This makes the token a solid choice for long-running projects such as loyalty programs, access identifiers, gaming tokens or check-in points that are encoded and read many times over their lifetime.
Installation and integration are flexible. The coin tag can be supplied with:
Adhesive backing – for quick “peel-and-stick” installation on clean, non-metal surfaces such as plastic, glass, wood or painted walls.
Non-adhesive version – for embedding in enclosures, key fobs, toys, game pieces, wristbands or printed materials.
(If required, an anti-metal version can be specified so the tag can be used on metal surfaces; otherwise, standard NTAG215 coin tags are intended for non-metal environments.)
Each tag is shipped blank and unformatted, ready for your own data. You can encode it with free or professional NFC software, using desktop NFC readers or NFC-enabled mobile phones. Typical uses include:
Event check-in tokens and visitor badges
Loyalty and membership tokens for shops, gyms and clubs
Game pieces and collectible tokens with hidden digital content
Inventory and light-duty asset labels
Smart posters, product hang tags and marketing touch points
DIY and hobby NFC projects, automation triggers or shortcuts
For branding and identification, the surface can be printed with your logo, text, serial numbers, barcodes or QR codes. Different colors and simple artwork help distinguish batches, user groups or functions (for example, different colors for different game levels or access zones).
With its balance of compact size, 504-byte memory, good compatibility and easy handling, the NTAG215 NFC Coin Tag is a practical “blank token” for a wide variety of NFC applications where you want to control the content yourself and keep the form factor clean and simple.
